With knowledge in clinical patient care, complex and highly regulated operations, as well as significant budget and financial acumen, pharmacy system leaders have strong potential to evolve into a broad array of executive roles. These expanded leadership opportunities come with unique challenges and are not for every pharmacy leader. To decide to make the leap to the C-Suite, pharmacy leaders will need a new level of self-awareness, as well as insight into what proficiency gaps they may need to address. Through sharing personal experiences and observations from working with both C- suite executives and aspiring pharmacy leaders, Mike and Rick provide a unique combination of perspective and a practical framework for pharmacy leaders who contemplate “Moving UP. “ This program is an extension of ASHP’s launch of Pharmacists in C-Suites (PICS).

This activity qualifies for live CPEL℠ recertification credit.
