Long D. Trinh, PharmD, MS, MBA, BCPS is a pharmacy leader with experiences in strategic planning, financial oversight, operational excellence, and business development at hospitals and multi-regional health systems. His expertise spans acute care, ambulatory oncology and infusions, research, and community pharmacies honed at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, Cleveland Clinic, Oregon Health & Science University, and at Providence St. Joseph Health. His professional career has been devoted to identifying and implementing initiatives to enhance caregiver well-being, engagement, and innovative process improvement opportunities, as well as developing new healthcare businesses and programs. His research interests and publications are related to caregiver well-being and engagement, workload and productivity, and performance management.
A strong analyzer of problems and effective communicator, he has the ability to translate vision, mission, and emergent needs to the front line and inspires teams to move through challenges, while demonstrating accountability through both words and actions. Dr. Trinh earned his bachelor’s degree with summa cum laude distinctions from University of Oregon, doctor of pharmacy from Oregon State University and Oregon Health and Science University College of Pharmacy, master of science in health-system pharmacy administration from Northeast Ohio Medical University, and a master of business administration in executive leadership from the Oregon State University College of Business. He had the opportunity to complete a health-system pharmacy administration residency at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus.
