LeeAnn Miller is the Vice President and Chief Pharmacy Officer for Pharmacy Services at Yale New Haven Health (YNHH), which is comprised of 5 Delivery Networks spanning the Connecticut shoreline and Rhode Island. LeeAnn oversees approximately 1200 employees spanning acute care and ambulatory services inclusive of retail, specialty, and home infusion pharmacy services and a drug budget over $1 Billion. She completed her undergraduate training at West Virginia University School of Pharmacy where she also completed her Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Policy. She later completed a post-graduate doctor of pharmacy degree at Shenandoah University in Virginia.
LeeAnn is active both locally and nationally in pharmacy and healthcare organizations, serving as Vice Chair, Vizient AMC Executive Council, is an active member of Connecticut Society of Health System Pharmacists, and the American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP), holding positions on the Pharmacy Executive Leadership Alliance and the Pharmacy Forecast Report Advisory Committee. She has spoken nationally and has been featured on podcasts on topics such as Specialty Pharmacy growth, Team-based Care, Strategic Planning and a range of leadership topics for professional associations and publications such as Becker’s.
Her interests include developing innovative healthcare models to improve access and enhance clinician satisfaction, support top of license practice, and reduce medication errors; showcasing pharmacy’s value in health systems; and developing future healthcare leaders.
