AUSTIN C. GARDNER, Pharm.D., M.H.A., M.S.
AUSTIN C. GARDNER, Pharm.D., M.H.A., M.S. (agardner1@geisinger.edu) is Assistant Director of Pharmacy, Finance/Contract Management at Geisinger. His previous experience includes roles as Resident Manager, Hillsborough Inpatient Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacist. Dr. Gardner earned his Pharm.D. from East Tennessee State University, Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy, his M.H.A. from Louisiana State University, and his M.S. from the University of North Carolina, Eshelman School of Pharmacy. He completed a PGY1/PGY2 Health Systems Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency at the University of North Carolina.

Dr. Gardner has been an active ASHP member since 2015 and in 2021 served as a member of the Legislative Affairs Advisory Group. He has several authored publications that range from oncology, pediatrics, transitions of care, and leadership. He has been invited to present regionally and nationally on topics related to leadership development, innovation, supply chain, and finance.
